Job Summary
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department in a hotel or hospitality setting. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet established standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote a high level of performance and professionalism.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
- Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
