We are seeking an Associate to join client’s team to play a pivotal role in their journey towards becoming a publicly traded company.
Role Overview : As an Associate of IPO Readiness, you will be responsible for assisting with efforts in preparing the company for its IPO. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Operations, and external advisors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting with a focus on IPO readiness, audit of publicly traded companies, and a strong understanding of SOX, GAAP and SEC regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the IPO readiness process, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of all required tasks.
- Audit and analysis of financial, IT and operational processes.
- Assist with the implementation of internal controls and processes to support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors to address any accounting or disclosure issues and resolve complex technical accounting matters.
- Provide guidance and training to finance and accounting teams on IPO-related matters and emerging accounting standards.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends related to IPOs and financial reporting.
