General Manager (GM)
Rainmaker Hospitality is currently seeking an experienced General Manager for our Hampton Inn located in Lexington, Kentucky, approximately 10 minutes from Downtown Lexington, KY. We own and operate several properties in the Lexington and surrounding markets and have deep roots within the community.
Our General Managers are the top leaders in our market. We are seeking a hospitality professional with a proven track record of success and experience within the major hotel brands. Our ideal candidate will be sales and service-focused and able to manage multiple facets within the hotel. The primary function of our General Manager is to be the leader of the team and to drive sales through service, marketing, community involvement, and all available avenues.
- Lead a highly effective team that exceeds our guests’ expectations and meets all company and brand standards. What makes our properties exceptional are the leaders and their teams.
- Develop, administer, and control the property’s revenue and expense budgets.
- Develop a sales strategy based on historical and future trending data that attains given revenue goals.
- Maintain a positive online reputation with third-party review sites by ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Facilitate the daily revenue management strategies, ensuring maximum market penetration.
- The ability to manage all the daily operations of the Front Desk, Housekeeping,
- Serve as the on-site HR manager, adhering to strict local, federal, and company policies.
- The ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary.
- Achieve outstanding quality assurance scores during brand inspections.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years GM experience or 3 years AGM experience with a major branded hotel, preferably within the Hilton brand.
- Must have a proven track record of success with service scores and market share penetration.
- Standard knowledge of state and local laws as well as all major federal employment laws.
