What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator Trainee - Slitter position at Rainstamp Manufacturing?
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a hardworking dedicated person to come in at an entry level and learn how to be an operator of equipment that takes large aluminum metal coils and turns them into the sizes needed for our customers. In this job you will:
- Work directly under a Machine Operator
- Assist with the operation of the machinery
- Assist with the changing of coils
- Assist with the moving of coils to the automated robotic packaging line
- Learn the skills and techniques needed to be promoted to Machine Operator
Pay:
- $22.57/hr=(base bonus), plus benefits too!

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Basic understanding of warehouse operations, and safety rules
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb
Must be able to lift 50 pounds individually and team lift 100 pounds throughout a workday
Willingness to operate a forklift and pallet jack after training
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Handle petty cash as needed
Any forklift experience a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: This crew rotates between days and nights every 6 weeks.
Days: M-Th 6 am-6 pm Some Fridays required
Nights: M- Th 6 pm-6 am Some Fridays required
