Industrial Maintenance Technician

In this role, you will service, install, and repair equipment for the Clean Freak Car Wash facilities and occasionally Circle K car wash tunnels You will be responsible for the overall operation and condition of the buildings and all the associated equipment and systems at our Express Wash locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are passionate about problem-solving.

What your day will look like:

• Performing preventative maintenance to minimize possible machine failure and ensure we provide our customers with a clean, dry, and shiny vehicle.
• Traveling between all stores in your market to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and responding to requests regularly, including assessing the nature of the emergency and determining a solution to prevent further damage or problems.
• Partner with the regional team to complete high-priority projects and implement new technology launches.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections on regular equipment and systems as assigned, including air conditioning equipment, furnace systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, regular wear and tear, windows, doors, locks, and smoke detectors.
• Building trusting relationships with the maintenance and operations team through our culture of accountability.

• Be ready to work in accordance with all Circle K rules, policies, and protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, both low and high-voltage.
• Moderate experience in at least four of the following competencies: Electrical, mechanical aptitude, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, or plumbing.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results with a strong sense of urgency and dedication to minimizing site downtime.
• Flexibility to work nights, on-call weekends, and overtime when necessary
• Must complete a pre-hire background check and driving history review.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license with no restrictions as a condition of employment.

Skills we are looking for in you:

• A strong work ethic, professional attitude, and a team player mindset
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to apply hydraulics, welding, plumbing, and other industrial fields knowledge to install and maintain car wash equipment.
• Ability to enjoy work while outside in varying weather conditions
• Previous experience in a car wash environment (preferred)
• Or two years of moderate-to-advanced-level experience in breakdown industrial and production maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see color variations, and climb and work from ladders.
