The Church Administrator of Raintree Christian Church is responsible for establishing, managing, and supervising the church's administrative (financial and building-related) operations. The optimal candidate is someone who:

- Has proficiency in basic office software
- Is committed to thoroughly and ethically managing personal/private information
- Has a working knowledge of budgeting, finance, and accounting practices
- Preferred, but not required: Proficient in QuickBooks Online
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial
- Preparing annual budget for the general operations of the church
- Assisting the staff in the preparation of ministry-area budgets
- Overseeing expenditures and communicating with staff regarding budget balances
- Making deposits (remote checks and direct bank)
- Managing online and in-person contributions through Planning Center Online/Stripe
- Emailing bi-annual contribution statements
- Administering bi-weekly payroll data with 3rd party payroll company
- Maintaining payroll records using QuickBooks Online
- Write checks/make payments to 3rd party vendors/contractors
- Maintain accurate payment records
- Balance and reconcile bank and credit accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Communicate and coordinate with insurance companies for health, AFLAC, property, liability, etc.
Office Management
- Organize necessary volunteers for church-wide functions or in-office needs (answering phones, etc.)
- Make necessary orders of supplies for office, worship, and janitorial needs
- Communicate with various service reps to support and maintain office equipment and address IT needs
- Coordinate and maintain the building-use schedule (church/non-church use or rentals)
- Update, maintain, and distribute Employee Handbook of procedures and guidelines
- Oversee employee benefits (manage insurance changes/renewals, manage sick/vacation leave)
Facility Management
- Maintain close communication with Facility Manager to coordinate building maintenance/repairs
- Communicate, negotiate, and maintain contracts with vendors/service providers, inspectors, pest control, etc.
- Acquire quotes and communicate with Senior Minister and Elders about major physical-plant needs/repairs
- Maintain a list of fixed assets
Salary : $18,000 - $25,000
