Job Duties And Details For Teacher Assistant
- 9 am to 5 pm
- Provide direct care for children aged 2 to 7 years old in a preschool setting
- Substitute for absent teachers
- Step into classrooms to facilitate breaks and planning periods for faculty
- Provide classroom support as needed
- Provide administrative/clerical support as needed
- REQUIRED: Two years of preschool teacher, daycare, or child care experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in early childhood, elementary education, art education, or music education
- Preferred: Missouri teaching certificate
- Reggio/constructivist training and/or experience
- Enthusiasm about the forest school model
