Raintree School is seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher who can confidently lead a class of young children and be part of a joyful team!

NOTE: This position is for one of our early childhood (2-4 years old) classrooms.

Job Qualifications for Teacher

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood or elementary education
• Missouri teaching certificate
• 2 years of teaching experience

The ideal Teacher candidate will have:

• Reggio/constructivist training and/or experience
• Enthusiasm about the forest school model
• Master's degree in education or related field
• Change the world attitude ;-)

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students' needs and learning styles.
• Utilize effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
• Support students' social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance.
