Position Summary LPN: To collaboratively provide excellent patient care in the ambulatory/clinic setting according to current best practice standards and through processes adopted by the Rainy Lake Clinics. The LPN will assist and support physicians/advanced practice providers and other clinic staff to achieve comprehensive patient care; they will directly assist with procedures within their scope of practice and for which competencies have been demonstrated; and will communicate clearly and positively with each other and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care. LPN will enhance the patient’s experience through proficiency in LPN skills as well as excellent customer service, communication and building positive relationships
with the patient and their family.

Position Summary LPN/CMA-CMA Training: Train to become a Certified Medical Assistant, provide excellent patient care in an ambulatory/clinic setting. The MA in training will gain experience while working with a licensed or certified staff member that is appropriate to their curriculum. Trainee responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, observing all health and safety requirements, completing assignments and competencies. Trainees will communicate clearly and positively with clinical teams and ancillary departments and follow performance standards set forth by RLMC. Trainees will enhance patient’s experience through excellent customer service, communication and building positive relationships with the patient and their family.
Minimum Qualifications:
Obtain Certification from accredited organization such as American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) within 6 months of hire. BLS Certification or ability to become certified within six months from date of hire
Minimum 12-month service term at RLMC following Certification as a Medical Assistant
High school diploma or GED Trainee must enroll in and complete an accredited Medical Assistant Training program within 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year or more in health care setting
