AUTOMOTIVE TITLE CLERK
Rairdon Auto Group is looking for candidates for a full-time Title Clerk position in our consolidated accounting office in Marysville, Wa! We are growing and need highly motivated people to join our teams! This position has a pay range of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
The Title Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the dealerships follow Rairdon Auto Group and Department of Licensing policies in regard to all dealership title work. The duties outlined below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this position. This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, and essential functions of the job.
Responsibilities
- Processing customer vehicle licensing within 45 days of the date of sale. Verify DOL registration information for accuracy when returned to dealer.
- Monitor Licensing schedule, write license refund checks to customers on day they are licensed, write off overages to sales adjustments, keep schedules clean.
- Run Ivips & Carfax on trade ins, used car purchases when stocked in.
- Keep current log of Ivips processed.
- Work with out of state licensing agencies to apply for Out of State title work for retail customers and on out of state titles.
- Notify Office Manager, Sales Managers/GM, and Inventory Managers right away if a serious title issue exists on an in-stock vehicle.
- Purchase Used vehicles or Dealer Trades in accounting if part of your role.
- Filing of inventory, MSO’s, Titles, and Car deals.
- Follow up on lien payoffs, call banks and research any late title issues. Keep Office Manager notified on a regular basis if we have concerns with deadlines.
- Make sure all inventory entries are posted at month end, Used purchase and Dealer Trades.
- Complete Month End Book reconciliations assigned by Office Manager:
Title/MSO Reconcilliation
Floorplan Reconcilliation
Sticker Scan and Physical Inventory Reconciliation
Qualifications
- Tekion system experience a plus
- Analytical mindset, like to work with numbers
- Attention to detail
- Word and Excel knowledge
- Ability to multi-task
- Great customer service skills with other team members and managers

Paid Time Off
- All employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law.
- Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn an additional 40 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date to be used prior to the next anniversary date. Following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn 80 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date to be used prior to the next anniversary date.
