What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at Raise Robotics?
Raise Robotics creates robots to build the world’s physical infrastructure. Our first product is MetalMan, a bimanual mobile manipulator that works alongside people on construction sites. We work with the largest contractors in the US and are supported by world-class deep tech and construction tech investors.

For this role, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer who will design, and architect the electrical system for the robot that encompasses EV power system, PCB design, and cable design. and develop firmware for interacting with embedded devices.
What we’re looking for :
- Bachelor or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 2 years of industry experience
- Solid EE fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, and testing PCBAs and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Altium, Autodesk Fusion, or a similar SW in both schematics and layout.
- Experience writing embedded SW for common serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI, RS485, etc.)
- Great hands-on electrical prototyping and debugging skills
- Experience in designing cables and cable assemblies
- Plus] Experience working with contract manufacturers for fabricating cables
- Plus] Experience designing PCBs for robotic systems
- Plus] Designing PCBs for large scale production and developing QC processes for PCB
