Job Summary
Under general direction, and working within a designated service region, Family Support Practitioners deliver TBRI® Caregiver Training classes and in-home coaching services for families and facilitate monthly Implementation and Connection Groups to support implementation of the TBRI® model, offering opportunities for participants to practice tools, discuss challenges, and build networks amongst families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide in-home coaching for interested families who have completed at least one of the TBRI® Caregiver Training courses. The in-home coaching services and goals will be developed with the family and reflect the family's needs. Coaching will involve observation, hands-on guidance, feedback, goal setting, and action planning. The number of visits and hours involved will vary based on each family's needs (weekends and / or evenings may be required).
- Document family assessment and progress within coaching notes and within the organization's database.
- Provide family support as needed, either in person, virtually, or via phone, including but not limited to assistance with implementation of TBRI® principles, utilization of these tools with caregivers, collaborating with related professionals on behalf of the family, and providing ongoing organic support such as brief check ins or linking with other resources.
- Plan and facilitate monthly “Connection Groups” in designated service area for families who have participated in at least one TBRI® Caregiver Training course to provide ongoing implementation support, learning opportunities, and natural points of connection for families to develop support networks with other families who have a mutual understanding of their children's needs and behaviors. This includes being the primary person responsible for the planning and logistics of the groups as well as facilitating the caregiver portion.
- Deliver the TBRI® Caregiver Training curriculum, as requested (weekends and / or evenings may be required)
- Travel to meetings, sessions, groups, events, or trainings with families, professionals, and in the community as needed to market the program and build collaboration.
- Adhere to the fidelity of the program and agency protocol and structure.
- Support internal and external communication about the program, conduct data entry, attend meetings, submit required reports, perform other administrative tasks as needed. Submit paperwork in adherence with prescribed timelines.
- Track monthly mileage and expenses associated with job duties.
- Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This position works primarily in a typical office environment, mostly indoor office environment with windows, with office equipment noise and may include frequent interruptions. This position also may be required to meeting with clients, and stakeholders in other settings outside the office. Considerable time is spent sitting at a desk using a computer terminal, and telephone, and attending meetings with others.
Salary Range : $24.04 - $28.84
