They are continuing to grow their business and in need of several Commercial Electricians to join their overnight crew.We have an ongoing need to fill this role—when you apply, you’ll be considered for both current and upcoming openings. You could be doing the following…Service and maintain the electrical systems within the jobsites and provide assistance where neededRead and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installationsSplice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits; pull wires through conduits and through holes in walls and floors; install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment; install, replace, repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panelsAssemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power toolsInspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codeDiagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problemConnect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems; connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other componentsWork in a safe manner, maintaining a safe and organized work area by observing all safety policies and procedures, applying safety training Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common project / site objectives.
