Position Overview :
Our client, a famed player in the Produce distribution space is seeking a skilled and dedicated Grant Writer to help secure funding, particularly for non-profit initiatives. This role is pivotal in identifying, crafting, and submitting grant proposals that align with our company’s mission and objectives. This is a remote, performance-based position with a monthly retainer and additional compensation tied to successful grant outcomes. The position is expected to begin in Q1 2025.
Key Responsibilities :
Grant Research : Identify and evaluate potential grant opportunities that align with our organizational goals, focusing on non-profit funding sources.
Proposal Development : Write and submit persuasive grant proposals, ensuring all required supporting documentation is included.
Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams to collect essential data, reports, and project details for grant applications.
Grant Monitoring : Track the status of submitted grants and follow up as needed to ensure timely processing.
Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with grant-making organizations.
Reporting : Provide regular updates on grant progress, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement, including weekly reports on ongoing efforts.
Compensation & Reporting Structure :
Compensation : Monthly retainer with performance-based bonuses tied to the value of successful grants. There is no cap on annual earning potential.
Reporting Line : Reports to Sales leadership, including executives.
Initial Training : A 30-day onboarding program, involving Sales, Inside Sales, and Operations teams, to set you up for success.
Future Career Development :
Serve as potential bench strength for the Sales Team.
After 18 months, the role will be reviewed to assess alignment with the organizational chart, strategic goals, and evolving needs. Adjustments to the role and responsibilities may follow based on this evaluation.
