We are seeking a highly experienced Project Management Specialist to lead the execution of oil and gas projects within the Great Lakes Region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project management strategies to achieve project objectives.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Identify and assess risks associated with projects, developing and implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with regional personnel and contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, following company standards and are on schedule and budget.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are managed within established budgets.
- Evaluate the quality of technical records and drawings produced throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Ensure constructed and repaired assets meet project sponsor and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in engineering or PMP certification preferred with 6 or more years of previous related experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and pipeline maintenance and construction experience.
- Knowledge of company Construction Standards and Specifications, as well as Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
