Pay Rate: $55.38-$96.92/hour on W2

Duration: 12-month contract (with possible extension)
Job Overview:
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, execution, and completion of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- This role leads Joint Project Teams (JPTs) and applies industry best practices to oversee project scope, schedule, cost, and performance risks.
- The Senior Project Manager serves as the single point of contact for assigned projects and assumes a leadership role in ensuring safe and high-quality project delivery.
- This position is typically assigned to large, multifaceted projects and requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic oversight to drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Oversee Joint Project Teams (JPTs), applying professional project management principles to control risks and ensure high-quality execution.
- Manage large project budgets, including:
- Single projects exceeding $25 million
- Portfolios with an aggregate value exceeding $75 million
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Facilitate problem resolution, risk mitigation, and proactive decision-making to drive project success.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a Technical Field, or equivalent education, training, and/or related work experience.
- Master’s degree preferred but not required.
Certification & Licensing:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (PMI) required within one year of appointment. Exceptions/extensions are governed by the client.
- Additional professional certifications (e.g., PE, CPA, CFA) are preferred but not required.
Experience:
- 10 years of utility project management experience or equivalent functional area experience.
- 3 years of increasing responsibility in leading project teams and managing complex projects.
- Expertise in project planning, scoping, cost estimating, and problem resolution.
- Highly desirable: Experience in new power plant design, construction, and/or nuclear licensing.
- Strongly preferred: Experience with greenfield construction planning and execution.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, resolve in-depth challenges, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality standards.
