RN Medical Surgical (Quick Offer)

Job Title: RN Med Surg

Location: St Johnsbury, VT

Duration: 13 Weeks (with possibilities of extension)

Shift: Night shift 7pm - 7am! Three 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week includes every other weekend.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours

Overtime Starts after: 40 hours

Pay Rate: $61/hr - $64/hr

Requirements: RN License, BLS & ACLS (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical settings
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and management
• Assist in discharge planning and coordination of post-hospital care

Requirements

• Previous experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Proficiency in working with patients with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols
• Understanding of anatomy, body systems, and medical imaging techniques
• Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system
• Ability to handle trauma medicine situations effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction

Pay: $61.00 - $64.00 per hour
