Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician - Outpatient and Inpatient Lab

Location: North Providence, RI 02904

Duration: 13-Week Contract (With possibility of extension)
Shift: 3:00PM – 11:30PM (5x8)

Guaranteed Hours: 40

OT: After 40 hours

OT Pay Rate: All-inclusive rate x 1.5

Pay Rate:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $47 to $50/hr. (If your permanent address is within 50-miles from the

facility)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50-mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $50.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate:  $2,000.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $15.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $600.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,400.00

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $52.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate:        $2,080.00

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technician (MLT) with experience in Blood Bank and Hematology to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Skills required:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in Blood Bank and Hematology.

Analyze blood, body fluids, and tissue samples to detect abnormalities.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality control procedures.

Accurately document and report test results to physicians and healthcare providers.

Assist in inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.

Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, etc.).

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate patient diagnostics.

Licenses:

• 3 years of experience as MT. MLT, or MLS - Required
• ASCP - MLT - Required
• Experience with body fluids and C3 and C4, total complement - Required
