Job Title: Mental Health Social Worker

Location: Astor St, Spokane, WA 99208
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours

Pay Details:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $50 to $55/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $52.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,080.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $17.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $680.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,400.00

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $55.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,200.00

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Social Worker to join our team in Spokane, WA. This role involves working within an Adult Day Care facility providing mental health case management for a geriatric and/or acute population. The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing patients with serious mental health disorders, including crisis triage and safety assessments. This is a 13-week contract with a Mon-Fri, day shift schedule and no weekend requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1 year of social work experience in a psychiatric or short-term acute care inpatient setting, preferably with geriatric populations.
• Certifications: BLS certification required.
• Skills: Case management experience is essential.
• Licensing: License required at the time of signature. LICSW preferred but not required. Most important is experience with serious mental health disorders.
• EPIC EMR: Experience with EPIC is REQUIRED.
• On-Call/Float: No on-call or floating required.
• Weekend Requirements: None.
• Local Applicants: Accepted if within a 50-mile radius of Spokane
• First-Timers: Accepted.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Conduct suicide and safety assessments.
• Perform crisis triage and diagnosis of mental health disorders.
• Identify best treatment practices for geriatric and adult mental health patients.
• Apply short-term treatment methods in line with the facility's mental health protocols.

Special Requirements:

• Reliable transportation required for all travelers.
• Must have no additional scheduling restrictions.
• Facility may call off traveler up to one shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).
• Block schedule is available with a Mon-Fri workweek.
