Job Title: CNA/Traveler CNA
Location: Galisteo St, Santa Fe, NM 87505
Duration: 14 weeks (with possibilities of extension)
Shift: 6:00am to 6:00pm Tue, Wed and Thu
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Pay Details:
For Local Candidates pay rate: $22 to $24/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility) (If 40 Hours per week is achieved):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $26.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $936.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $12.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $432.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $504.00
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $27.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $1,008.00
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires a team player who is flexible and accustomed to a fast-paced healthcare environment. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of hospital or long-term care experience and a minimum of one previous travel assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients.
- Monitor, collect, and accurately record patient information in the medical record.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, positioning, and ambulation.
- Perform bedside testing, such as glucometry, and assist with the application and removal of restraints under the direction of an RN.
- Round on patients and families frequently to assess needs and concerns.
- Document all care provided and ensure the cleanliness of the unit and patient care areas.
- Deliver specimens to the laboratory and transport equipment as necessary.
- Communicate pertinent information during shift changes and complete clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification and active in the state of New Mexico.
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital or long-term care experience.
- BLS certification.
- EPIC experience preferred, but training can be provided on-site.
A valid State of NM CNA license and phlebotomy skills are required, along with current BLS certification.
