Job Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Anaconda, MT 59711

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $35.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $1,260.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $10.55
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $379.80
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $880.20
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $36.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $1,296.00
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care in Anaconda, MT. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, working 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in patient care and will be comfortable with variable shifts and holiday coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients, assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist in patient transfers, repositioning, and maintaining patient comfort.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and families on care procedures, safety measures, and health management.
- Provide holiday coverage as required by the facility.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all patients under your care.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Licensure/Certification:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Montana.
- BLS/BCLS certification required.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to handle variable shifts and holiday coverage.
- Other:
- Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write in English.
- Must be able to work with diverse patient populations.
