Job Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
Contract Length: 7 Weeks

Pay Details:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $22 to $24/hr (If your permanent address is within 60 miles from the facility)
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $26.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $936.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $13.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $468.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $468.00

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $27.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $972.00

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 7-week contract in Albuquerque, NM. This position offers 12-hour shifts, guaranteeing 36 hours per week, to provide exceptional patient care in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CNA and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Assist in patient mobility, including transfers and ambulation.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a CNA (Preferred).
• Licensure/Certification:
• Active CNA certification in the state of New Mexico (REQUIRED).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (REQUIRED).
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Other Requirements:
• COVID-19 vaccinations (REQUIRED).
