Pay Details:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $60 to $65/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $62.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,232.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $27.39
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $986.04
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,245.96

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $65.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,340.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Emergency Department (ED) at a hospital in Maine. The ideal candidate will have a current Maine nursing license, BSN preferred, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Requirements:

· Current Maine nursing license or compact license

· Current, unexpired certifications (BLS required, ACLS preferred)

· Immunizations required (varicella, HepB, MMR, Tdap, PPD)

· Ability to problem solve and think critically

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledge base to include nursing assessment and skills for all age groups

Job Functions:

· Performs initial and ongoing nursing assessments

· Develops and implements plan of care based on patient needs and physician orders

· Executes appropriate nursing actions to reach patient goals

· Communicates patient care activities to health care team members

· Documents patient care activities in accordance with established standards and hospital policies and procedures

· Maintains a physical environment that provides for patient and staff safety and wellness

· Participates in Quality Improvement and Emergency Management initiatives

Work Environment:

Requires standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching, balance, lifting, pushing patients in wheelchairs and stretchers, and lifting up to 30 lbs

Exposure to infectious diseases, blood-borne pathogens, toxic cleaning chemicals, and fumes is possible

Schedule:

Variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
