Location: Texas Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Pay Details:
For Local Candidates pay rate: $50-$54/hr. (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $60.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,160.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $26.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $936.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,224.00
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $62.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,232.00
Job Description:
The Charge Nurse role assists the Director in the achievement of organizational and department-specific goals and objectives. This position works in a supportive manner as a Charge Nurse, quality management coordinator, and a resource for the unit. The Charge Nurse will provide backup administrative support in the absence of the Director.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee nursing care for assigned residents/patients during the shift.
- Manage patient/resident care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Serve as a leader and resource for the unit, ensuring care delivery is consistent with facility policies and standards.
- Provide back-up administrative support in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- Participate in patient/resident and family education and provide guidance regarding care plans.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and other interdisciplinary team members to achieve quality patient care outcomes.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor the quality of care, assisting with quality management and performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Certifications & Licensure:
- RN License for the State of Maine/Compact Allowed.
- BLS Certification.
