Job Title: Travel Nurse RN ED - Emergency Department
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in patient care, providing both direct and indirect care through the nursing process in all areas of the Emergency Room (ER). You will be responsible for assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay, administering IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed, providing patient education, and documenting nursing actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients throughout their ER stay.
- Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as required.
- Provide patient education and counseling as appropriate.
- Document all nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
- 1 years of previous nursing experience required.
- At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience is required.
