Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and have experience operating heavy construction equipment. This is a full-time, weekday position (Monday-Thursday, 5 AM – 5 PM), with occasional overtime based on company and customer demands. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and being exposed to loud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the Loader and other heavy equipment.
- Transport aggregates throughout the pits or facility efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as basic maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment, specifically a Excavator, preferred.
- Teamwork and strong communication skills are essential.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to surrounding rock and sand pits.
Compensation:
Pay is based on experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Tolerance for loud noise levels.
Full Time: Monday- Thursday
5 AM - 5 PM
