Job Description:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in providing exceptional oral healthcare to patients while educating them on preventive care. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure each patient receives high-quality and comfortable care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
- Conduct periodontal charting and monitor oral health conditions.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Assist the dentist in identifying and diagnosing oral health issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Michigan.
- Proven experience in dental hygiene (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency with dental software (experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
