Job Overview
This role is sales-first, focusing on increasing parts revenue, expanding market share, and implementing strategic pricing and marketing programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts sales and marketing, along with experience managing supplier relationships, pricing models, and inventory optimization.
The position requires close collaboration with procurement, operations, service, and finance teams to drive profitability while ensuring an optimized inventory that meets demand. The role also includes overseeing the ERP system (Acumatica) for pricing updates, forecasting, and data management. Travel may be required for vendor visits, warehouse assessments, or company meetings.
Primary Job Function
- Sales-Driven Role: Focus on maximizing parts sales and expanding market share.
- Strategic Pricing & Marketing: Implement and manage pricing models to maintain profitability and drive revenue.
- Collaboration Across Departments: Work with procurement, customer service, warehouse, sales, and service teams to align sales strategies
- and streamline operations.
- ERP & E-Commerce Management: Maintain accurate pricing and inventory data within Acumatica ERP and expand sales channels through e-
- commerce platforms.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop & execute sales strategies to grow parts revenue.
- Implement strategic pricing models to optimize margins and competitiveness.
- Maintain accurate vendor pricing & inventory records in the ERP system (Acumatica).
- Collaborate across departments to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee e-commerce expansion for online parts sales.
- Optimize inventory turnover while minimizing overstock and slow-moving parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive parts sales & expand market share through strategic initiatives.
- Create & implement competitive marketing programs to maximize inventory turnover and revenue.
- Analyze industry trends, customer demand, and competitor pricing to adjust sales strategies.
- Strengthen supplier relationships for favorable pricing and promotional opportunities.
- Develop & manage strategic pricing models to maintain profitability.
- Monitor cost fluctuations & adjust pricing strategies as needed.
- Manage rebates, returns, and credits to ensure the company benefits from supplier incentives.
- Maintain & update vendor pricing & inventory records in Acumatica ERP.
- Lead enhancements in inventory forecasting & sales analytics to improve demand planning.
- Oversee setup & management of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon) to expand sales channels.
- Partner with procurement, sales, warehouse & customer service to ensure smooth operations.
- Support accounting team with pricing discrepancies & purchase order issues.
- Manage vendor relationships & contract negotiations to align with sales initiatives.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet sales demand while reducing excess stock.
- Oversee warehouse transfers, order fulfillment & logistics to ensure efficient delivery.
Requirements:
- Sales experience in parts sales & marketing.
- Experience in turf maintenance equipment, automotive, or related industries.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Acumatica preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using CRM tools.
