Senior Project Engineer – On-Site (Farmington Hills, MI)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support multiple industrial construction projects in Farmington Hills, MI. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a self-starter mindset and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires strong technical skills in construction plan reading, project coordination, cost estimation, and quality control. The selected candidate will work closely with Project Managers to oversee multiple projects and ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
- Minimum of 4 years working for a General Contractor.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk, Bluebeam, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong ability to read and interpret civil drawings confidently.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to handle high expectations and work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Analyze and interpret civil drawings with confidence.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
- Utilize AutoDesk, Bluebeam, Excel, and Outlook to track project progress.
- Maintain rigorous documentation, RFIs, and submittals to support project efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with construction methods, materials, and quality control standards.
Additional Information:
- This role is for candidates who want to remain Project Engineers.
- The role involves working under a demanding yet experienced Project Manager.
- Heavy administrative work, including blueprint reading, RFIs, and submittals.
Compensation & Benefits:
