Position Overview
Our client, a well-established Public Accounting Firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This firm has been in business for over 50 years, offering a stable and rewarding work environment. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of public accounting experience and strong expertise in tax preparation, financial statement review, and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual and corporate income tax returns
Tax planning for individuals and businesses
Compile and review financial statements
Prepare payroll and sales tax returns
Provide bookkeeping services and maintain accurate financial records
Assist with audits and financial statement preparation

Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
Experience with Lacerte, Ultra Tax, Accounting CS, and QuickBooks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Maintains confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
CPA designation or actively working toward it
