Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for cats, including feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sanctuary, including litter box maintenance and sanitizing living areas.
- Assist with the socialization and enrichment of cats to promote their well-being.
- Conduct health checks and monitor the behavior of the cats to identify any signs of illness or distress.
- Support community outreach efforts to promote awareness of our mission.
- Interact with visitors providing exceptional customer service while educating them about cat care.
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals for routine check-ups and emergency situations as required.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to animal care, such as moving supplies or transporting animals when necessary.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Experience in animal care, including roles such as kennel attendant, veterinary assistant, or veterinary technician.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with visitors and donors.
- Background in pet sitting or animal handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques for safe handling during care procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks related to animal care duties.
