About the Job
Rakhere Technologies is seeking a skilled Assembly Production Engineer to join our team in Macungie, PA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for setting up the assembly line for new truck introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining assembly instructions by connecting BSLs to core Instruction 250
- Preparing assembly aids and performing time studies for new processes
- Identifying tooling and equipment needs based on new product changes and processes
- Industrializing new tooling, equipment, fixtures, and lifting hooks
- Working with operations, logistics, and quality functions to support production with zero downtime
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive or heavy commercial vehicle industry
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, manufacturing, and production standards
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
