Clinical Triage LPN

Large ENT Practice in Raleigh is looking to add to its well-established clinical team. We are the regional leader for ENT, allergy, and audiology care in the Triangle with plans to keep growing. We have 5 locations in Brier Creek, Cary, Garner, Holly Springs, and Raleigh. We are currently hiring a Triage LPN.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Performs telephone triage as ordered by the provider.
• Engage in telephone consultations with patients, offering guidance on the appropriate course of action, which may involve directing them to emergency rooms (ERs), urgent care centers, or their primary care physicians
• Conduct concise assessments of patients' conditions to gauge the severity of their illness or injury, including gathering information about their primary complaints and, when possible, collecting vital signs and mental status information.
• Determine the urgency of seeing the patient based on a brief assessment and familiarity with a patient's condition and history. May use a computerized medical information database, which uses algorithms that closely imitate physician logic and thought patterns, as a guide. Consult with a physician as necessary.
• Performs assessments and patient treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Directs test results to physicians for review.
• Provides patient education as needed.
• Assists with minor office procedures.
• Collects and documents patient information thoroughly and consistently.
• Assists in the Clinic as needed / directed
• Assists in the post-operative execution of physician orders.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.

Schedule :

Monday - Friday, 8 am- 5 pm. No weekends. No Holidays.

Salary : $24 - $27
