JOB SUMMARY
Have thorough knowledge of personal computer hardware and software and be able to troubleshoot, install,configure, modify and support Windows operating systems hardware and software.
Troubleshoot and support network infrastructure and network security.
Assist and cover for helpdesk analyst position as needed.
Assist with software compliance, and license on all systems in facility.
Maintains software and hardware inventory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs repairs and maintains the personal computers within the hospital.
Responsible for the physical set up and installation of personal computer systems.
Verifies daily transmission of files.
Assists with adding/updating new user to systems and education and training to new users.
Assists with project management.
Assists with planning, budgeting and compliance for future growth of IT&S.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience Required
Required Skills
A certification preferred
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience
1-3 years IT related experience preferred. Knowledge of PC hardware and software. Working knowledge of LAN and WAN hardware and software.
