As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing critical intensive care to patients with medical, surgical, and cardiac needs. This role requires advanced critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administering advanced therapies, such as administration of vasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, management of cardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Providing parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenous pacing, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Required
- Required Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) -to be obtained within 30 days, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - to be obtained within 6 months, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - to be obtained within 6 months
- Required Licenses: Current registered nurse or compact licensure
