Billing & Collections Specialist - Full-Time Position - Panther Creek Office - Patient Account Liaison will be responsible for all facets of accounts receivable management for the Surgery Center’s facility claim filings. From the starting point of ensuring accurate claims content and proper claims format per insurance payer through appealing payer denials and collecting of secondary, residual (and patient) balances, this position will be responsible for all aspects of the revenue cycle ensuring optimal reimbursement for the surgery center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires 3 to 5 years’ experience in medical billing and accounts receivable collections. Experience with orthopaedics, or other surgical specialty billing preferred. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Experience with face-to-face contact with patients and telephone contact with both patients and insurance payers required. Must be computer literate.
Salary : $19 - $26
