Works under the direction of the Facility Coordinator to perform duties related to repair and preventive maintenance of buildings, offices, mechanical and / or electrical equipment, furniture set up and movement, etc. Assists with building-equipment emergencies on an as needed basis.
Requires High School diploma with a certificate from a facilities maintenance program and / or equivalent experience. Must be detail oriented and have technical knowledge of building systems such as electrical, heating and plumbing, etc. cleaning procedures and maintenance. Requires basic trade skills such as plumbing, painting, caulking, drywall and electrical and knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations. Must be computer literate with experience using email, MS Office and related communication tools. Self-motivated and ability to work independently with limited supervision and flexible to work occasional nights or weekends for planned service of an on-call basis as needed for emergencies.
