Full-Time Position - Raleigh Office. The Worker’s Comp Coordinator serves as liaison between insurance carriers, patients and providers. This position schedules Worker’s Comp patient appointments in accordance with department guidelines. Also obtains all necessary authorizations for diagnostic tests and / or surgery, in addition to scheduling appointments for IME & special exams.
Qualifications
Prefer 2 to 3 years’ experience in medical or Worker’s Comp insurance. Ability to multi-task and maintain good record keeping / documentation. This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills required. Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, physicians, patients and Worker’s Comp Carriers. Computer literate as well as data entry skills.
