Content Writer: Help me Show People How to Break Free from the Default Path
The Role
I'm looking for a strategic storyteller who can turn transformative ideas into compelling digital content through the written word. You'll help spread the message that every person has a unique Creator within them, waiting to break free from autopilot and build something meaningful.
Core Responsibilities
- Research and craft stories of transformation (25%)
- Uncover historical and modern examples of people who left the Default Path to find their own way
- Take the writings from my book The Creator's Call and make them digestible in a social media context
- Content Repurposing & Adaptation (25%)
- Transform key book concepts into engaging Twitter/linkedin/facebook posts
- Develop newsletters that dive deeper into core themes
- Original Copywriting and script input for videos(50%)
- Develop content that shows how business decisions reflect deeper life choices
The Ideal Creator
You're someone who:
- Knows how to balance practical advice with deeper wisdom
- Can write in a voice that's both authoritative and vulnerable
- Has experience crafting high-engagement social content through the written word
- Loves research and finding hidden gems in historical stories
- Bonus points if you love Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung or Alan Watts
What Success Looks Like
- Content that makes readers feel seen in their struggle between success and meaning
- Stories that inspire action while acknowledging the fear of change
- Writing that balances professional insight with personal transformation
- High engagement metrics across platforms
- Ability to maintain a consistent voice while adapting to different platforms
Required Experience
- 2 years of creating engaging social media content
- Strong portfolio of business/personal development writing
- Proven track record of research-based content creation
- Experience with Twitter, LinkedIn, and newsletter writing
