About the Role:

The Product Manager will oversee the development and execution of Rally's complete technology product suite, including RallyTrack, and spearhead the launch of Rally's programming management software. This role involves defining the product roadmap, guiding cross-functional teams, and utilizing customer insights to deliver scalable, innovative solutions that enhance player engagement, improve performance, and elevate the overall pickleball experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire product lifecycle, including strategy, design, development, testing, and launch.
  • Define the product roadmap and prioritize features based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to develop integrated solutions that meet Rally Technologies' standards of quality and performance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on product goals and deliverables.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate feature ideas.
  • Work directly with engineers to help guide feature development.
  • Perform experiment analysis on features and find opportunities for optimization.
  • Define your key performance indicator(s) that drive company goals.
  • Analyze and incorporate customer feedback, market research, and industry trends to continuously enhance the product.
  • Create detailed product specifications and user stories, ensuring the development team has a clear understanding of requirements.
  • Review code (as needed) to facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment on product objectives.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure product consistency and visual appeal.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in product management, preferably with experience in hardware and software solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read code and collaborate effectively with technical teams (preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of managing projects from concept to completion.
  • User-Centric Approach: Experience conducting user research and translating customer insights into actionable features.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and make evidence-based decisions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with computer vision technology, sensors, or player tracking systems.
  • Background in startups or fast-paced tech companies (e.g., Duolingo, Fitbit).
  • Familiarity with Quality Standards (QS) and Quality Systems, including the ability to implement and maintain processes that ensure product excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Passion for pickleball, sports technology, or recreational gaming is a bonus.
