- Supervises field operations for a Waste Water Treatment project
- supervise and coordinate activities of grading crew and may also engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised
- Read, understand, interpret and enforce safety policies and practices.
- Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure.
- Lays out floor-plan/worksite as needed.
- Inspects work performed by subordinates to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to increase efficiency of work crew.
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
- Maintain a general knowledge of equipment used on the job including basic understanding of equipment limits and designed purposes.
- Ability to read and understand a two-week construction schedule.
- A minimum of 5 years of supervising / crew leadership experience
- A minimum of 5 year (overall) of Concrete Carpentry/Finish work experience
- Work Safely
- Be able to carry 70 lbs. or more – frequent cross body movements such as bending, climbing, twisting, balancing, stooping, etc.
- High School diploma/GED preferred.
- Flexible availability to include overtime and weekends.
