Position Description
The Jr Party Chief will be working in a team and eventually task with solo responsibilities - the responsibilities could change depending on the assignment.
The average work hours per week are 40-60 depending on weather and projects. The ideal candidate needs to be willing to work nights and weekends and occasionally travel out of town.

Position Description
The Jr Party Chief will be working in a team and eventually task with solo responsibilities - the responsibilities could change depending on the assignment.
The average work hours per week are 40-60 depending on weather and projects. The ideal candidate needs to be willing to work nights and weekends and occasionally travel out of town.
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment, including robotic total station, data collector, and GPS equipment.
- Prepares field notes and drawings; and performs field surveying for roadway, bridges, including installing surveying construction stakes and locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control.
- Maintains field data records, survey project files, and importing/exporting staking files
- Proactively upholds all safety polices and standards.
- Maintains strict adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as directed.

- A minimum of 1 year of survey experience with a heavy Civil / Highway construction is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Trimble and Leica equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and MS Outlook Exchange is preferred but not mandatory.

- Weekend Availability
- Trimble/Leica: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driver’s License (Required)
