Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., carrying, pushing and/or pulling. Mobility including standing, walking, kneeling, and crouching based on location of parts. Ability to work in non-air conditioned shop.
The location of the parts room is between the bays of the building. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
Wage Range: 50000.00 - 50000.00 per year

Duties:
- Manage parts inventory including ordering, receiving, and storing parts necessary to maintain functionality of facility and completion of jobs.
- Manage necessary parts returns in a timely manner.
- Understand current warranty policies and ensure full utilization of warranties.
- Maintain tire inventory.
- Open and close purchase orders.
- Ability to learn new software knowledge to serve as a “super user” for the Maintenance software.
- Daily coordination with the Maintenance Techs, Drivers, and Dispatchers.
- Enter records of all external repairs into our system.
- Maintain necessary equipment records for all tractors and trailers.
- Provides phone support for Tractor and Trailer Shops.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for all vendors.
- Daily audit of parts received versus parts billed to be given to accounts payable.
- Assist with other duties in shop as needed to ensure functionality of the Shop Teams.
Job Requirements:
- One year of experience in a parts or service department.
- Knowledge of FIFO and other practices to maintain inventory.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle part/order numbers with similar strings of numbers.
- Willingness to accept responsibility, self-motivated, and works with minimal supervision.
