What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspection Assembly / Final Sales position at RAM Aviation, Space & Defense, LLC?
Perform final inspection on raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for compliance to specifications and customer requirements. May use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment during final inspection process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine requirements, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment, and certification methods, and measuring instruments required.

Inspect, test, or measure manufactured or final level products for conformance to all requirements
and specifications. Reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting the requirements. - Document rejected product per RAM internal specification(s).
- Perform first article (first piece) buyoffs throughout the assembly process
- Prepare AS9102 first article reports when required
- Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, and quantities inspected.
- GD&T interpretation of drawings
- Ensure measuring equipment is working properly prior to acceptance of product

Prepare products for further processing, shipping, or packaging and transport of products to other
workstations as necessary. - Use numerous types of precision handheld inspection tools and instruments
- Maintain accurate documentation, must be proficient in operation of a computer and using Microsoft word, excel, and outlook and ability to stay organized
- Ability to multi-task with limited supervision and ability to handle frequent interruptions
- Good communication skills while interfacing with other departments and individuals
- Ability to maintain quality requirements while remaining efficient
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001/ AS9100, statistical process and KAIZAN.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or 1 - 2 years related work experience
