We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team and aggressively grow sales in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the roofing industry and experience with thermal imaging/aerial infrared technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating the advantages of our superior patented technology to prospective clients, developing relationships with key target clients, and preparing client-specific sales strategy plans. They will also be expected to represent RAM at conferences and professional organizations to expand our business and technical expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating information on the benefits of our technology to prospective clients.
- Developing relationships with key target clients and providing new client sales.
- Preparing, maintaining, and executing client-specific sales strategy plans.
- Representing RAM at conferences and professional organizations.
- Responding to inquiries from RAM clients and collaborating with staff to address infrastructure needs.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience working in the roofing industry.
- Specialized expertise and training in roof systems such as engineering degrees or certifications through IBEC.
- Strong skills in business development, networking, account management, and sales process.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals and building strong relationships with customers.
