Job Summary:
RAM Construction Services is committed to increasing customer experience by servicing clients at the highest level possible. We seek a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, and a complete understanding of the project management process.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Managing project finances, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting. Having a comprehensive understanding of all costs involved.
- Leading the project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support company growth,
- Follow up on proposals
- Negotiate with owners and sub-contractors
- Solicit and evaluate sub-contractor quotes
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree –Construction Management or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
- 2 years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Specialty Contractors or a "Self-Performing" contractor
- Ability to travel to project sites is required
Technology:
Proficient with Microsoft programs: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Work Environment:
As a Project Manager for RAM, the employee will be exposed to an office and a job site/field setting. Work environments may include, but are not limited to, seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking, and indoor/outdoor settings.
Travel:
To and from job sites is required. RAM will compensate for travel expenses if applicable
