Job responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cost accounting.
- Prepare and manage the Work in Progress schedule (WIP)
- Oversee and manage bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Prepare and manage cash flow.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monthly bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and review job cost reports.
- Manage fixed asset schedule.
- Assist with sales and use tax filings.
- Oversight of accounts receivable and monthly billings.
- Oversight of credit card program and reconciliation.
- Manage ERP sync with Procore
- Manage general ledger accounting functions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
- Work with external auditors, consultants, and firms.
- Work with project managers and senior management.
- Supervise accounting team.
Skills and Experience
- 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally with experience in month-end close, AP, AR, and Payroll
- Industry experience required (Construction, General Contractor - preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor, Procore, Bill.com a plus.
- Previous supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Strong Understanding of GAAP accounting standards

Salary : $170,000 - $210,000
