Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, dedicated professional to join our team as an Industrial Construction Foreman. This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Industrial General Foreman. In this position, you must understand and promote employee safety as your top priority.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory:
- Manage site projects safely and effectively
- Direct crews, oversee projects, schedule, and timekeeping
- Assist in project selection, bidding, and crew development
Construction:
- Perform skilled industrial mechanical and carpentry work
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
- Act as Safety Leader on field service jobs while performing construction tasks
- Monitor and audit safety compliance, coach employees on best practices
- Comply with company policies and procedures in the shop and field
- Measure, mark, shape, and cut materials for construction
- Assemble boards, timber, or plywood to build wooden forms for concrete pouring
- Operate electrical, air-powered, and hand tools during projects
- Spread, rake, and finish concrete
- Follow established safety rules and maintain a clean environment
- Perform lock out/tag out procedures
- Use basic rigging/lifting devices (cables, chains, come along, shackles, slings, straps, electric winches)
- Possess basic hand tools: wrenches, sockets, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, measuring tape, speed square, levels
- Organize required documents for mine sites (hazard and site-specific, annual refresher, badges)
- Work independently with little supervision and effectively as part of a team
- Safely lift 75-100 pounds frequently using proper lifting techniques
- Obtain access to all regional customer properties
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- 5-10 years’ experience in industrial or commercial construction
- Ability to direct and supervise teams and provide professional development
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Understanding of carpentry trade’s best practices and general building standards
- Maintain required certifications for work assignments (MSHA, OSHA, site-specific safety, equipment-specific)
- Ability to safely lift 75-100 pounds frequently using proper lifting techniques
Criteria/Conditions:
- Work in various industrial settings, including shop, mining, and construction environments
- Exposure to temperature extremes, mechanical parts, electrical shock, chemicals, airborne particles, fumes, and high noise levels
- Stand, sit, talk, hear, see, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms
- Regular use of personal protective equipment (hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, respirator, gloves)
