Job Title : Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Location : Puyallup, WA

RAM GeoServices, Inc. , is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in geotechnical engineering principles and will play a key role in the design, analysis, and construction of infrastructure projects. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for assessing soil and rock properties, conducting site investigations, and providing technical recommendations to ensure the safety and stability of structures.

Position Overview

Ram GeoServices, a growing geotechnical engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Puyallup, WA. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to manage large government projects, contribute to technical designs, mentor staff and lead innovative engineering solutions. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee large-scale government and private projects.
Provide technical leadership in geotechnical design and analysis.
Collaborate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct technical design work, including liquefaction analysis, dewatering designs, shoring designs, ground improvement designs and advanced static and seismic modeling using PLAXIS
Act as a mentor and leader for the team, guiding junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications

Experience : 5 years in geotechnical engineering.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required). Master’s degree preferred.

Certifications : Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Skills : Expertise in liquefaction, PLAXIS software, and structural engineering is highly valued.

Preferred : Experience working with contractors and a track record of managing large government projects.
