Job Summary
RAM Mounts is looking for an energetic Account Manager - Distribution to join our team. The Distribution Account Manager will develop, implement, and execute the account plans for our distribution partners. They will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and will act as the distributor liaison for the sales team to ensure distribution is supporting the sales strategy.
You will also travel to industry and customer events 10% to 25% of the time. Compensation includes a base salary, benefits package, and bonus plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand key customer relationships
- Serve as the product expert and provide product recommendations
- Present the RAM product line to your accounts in person or virtually
- Grow sales within a group of existing accounts
- Analyze your accounts performance and identify opportunities
- Manage inventory and open orders to ensure appropriate stocking levels are in place to support our vast reseller network
- Capture accurate and complete information in the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Develop strategic approaches for sales within your book of accounts
- Communicate with customers on production updates and other inquiries
- Travel to tradeshows, partner events, and customer training events to represent National Products Inc. (RAM Mounts)
- Analyze and communicate sell-through information from distribution partners to sales team
Skills and Specifications
- Prioritization skills are a must
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including M365 Suite and Salesforce (or comparable CRM system)
- Ability to analyze sales trends and data from multiple sources
- Phone and virtual meeting etiquette
- Navigate varied information systems for customer information
- Organized and self-disciplined
- Effective presentation skills
- Excellent time-management skills
Education and Qualifications
- Prefer degree from a 4-year accredited university
- Prefer 4-5 years of sales experience or transferrable skills
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Background in manufacturing and/or technology is a plus
Salary Range: $77,968.80 - $85,000
